More games.
More development.
More flexibility.

The IFC model gives players a substantial competitive calendar without using a season of collegiate eligibility. A player’s eligibility clock may begin while enrolled, but IFC competition does not consume one of their playing seasons.

For players who later want the varsity college experience, the environment provides consistent training, meaningful game film and the flexibility to pursue the right opportunity.

Eligibility circumstances vary. Players should confirm their individual status with the relevant university compliance office.
IFC Cedar player Rob Stanton

Rob Stanton earns substantial Lock Haven scholarship.

After a successful year as one of IFC Cedar’s game changers, Rob Stanton has accepted a substantial scholarship offer from Lock Haven University. The England native will enter as a sophomore academically and a freshman from an eligibility standpoint.

Lock Haven and Head Coach Pat Long matched Rob’s goals for the next step of his U.S. soccer journey—putting him in a fantastic position to succeed on the field and in the classroom.

IFC Cedar player Alejandro Trejos

Alejandro Trejos signs with NCAA Division II Lewis University.

IFC Cedar goalscorer Alejandro Trejos has accepted another substantial scholarship to continue his academic and soccer journey at Lewis University in the Chicago area.

Alejandro has spent the last three years within the Oliver Charles Sports Management organization, beginning in our high school program. A natural goalscorer, we will miss his goals and his presence around the club—but look forward to watching him shine in Chicago this fall.
